Originally named Manor House Mill, it took on the name Mutton’s Mill after Fred Mutton, the last mill keeper, who operated it until it ceased to function in 1947. It  has since been restored a number of tiime since 1947   more information on restoration to be needed here

Mutton’s Mill— is lso known as Manor House Mill—is a Grade II* listed windpump erected in the early 19th century. Most reliable sources indicate it was built in 1830 replacing an earlier structure on the very same site.
